No. QR decoding runs inside your browser. The image and camera frames are not uploaded to QR Scan Online. You decide whether to open or copy the decoded result.

No. QR Scan Online always previews the decoded destination first. This reduces accidental visits to unexpected websites and gives you time to review any warnings.

The scanner checks visible risk indicators such as unusual protocols, embedded credentials, IP-address destinations, punycode, and known URL shorteners. These checks are helpful signals, not a guarantee that a website is safe.

The scanner can decode common QR content including website URLs, plain text, email addresses, phone numbers, SMS instructions, Wi-Fi credentials, contact cards, and calendar details.

Try a sharper image with the entire code visible, better lighting, and less glare. Leave some blank space around the code and avoid extreme angles. A damaged or very small code may need a closer photo.

Scan Pro costs $7 per month and unlocks batch image scanning, CSV export, an expanded local scan history, and an ad-free experience. You can manage or cancel the subscription through the Stripe billing portal.
